Location:

My name is Meredith and I am the owner and operator of a mobile cafe called Roll Away Cafe.  I have a long history in the hospitality industry, which has led me to an eclectic and traveled work/life experience.  While working on a coffee farm in Hawaii, I gained a deep appreciation for coffee that would eventually lead me to start Roll Away Cafe.  In this course, we will go over the origin of coffee and how it went from a crop to a cup.  We will learn a brief history of the birth of cafe culture and how coffee inspired a home for creativity and the exchange of ideas.  We will also learn how the latte came to be and how it migrated from Europe to your local cafe.  After this brief history lesson, we will have a hands-on learning experience where you will learn how to make the perfect latte.  Everyone will have a chance to work the espresso machine and make themselves a latte to enjoy.
