This month's film is The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

A 13-year-old boy is thrown out of the school he loves when his family can no longer afford the fees. He sneaks into the library and learns how to build a windmill to save his village from a famine in this film directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor for Netflix.

The Black Is Beautiful Film Series is curated and hosted by poet Rajnii Eddins.  The series features monthly films by Black film directors.  The films range from the well-known Hollywood blockbusters to award-winning independent films.  Please join us for an afternoon of entertaining and engaging movies!
