An Audio Time Capsule of Vermont

What does Vermont sound like to you? Grab your phone or audio recorder! Become a Community Audio Explorer!

Join the Fletcher Free Library and Vermont Folklife Center for an exciting summer voyage in an audio exploration of your community. The Green Record is a series of audio stories that represent life in Vermont created by you! Inspired by the spacecraft Voyager’s Golden Record.  You and/or your team will create "a kind of time capsule, intended to communicate a story of our world," to future humans and beyond. Whether your Green Record is self-organized, created in our workshops, or put together by your team, Vermont Folklife Center and Fletcher Free Library are your ground control.
