Are Fletcher Free Library fines keeping you from borrowing your favorite books & movies?

Volunteer away your fines!

Patrons ages 18 & over can reduce or eliminate fines by volunteering at a rate of $15 in fines/hour worked, no experience required.  Work will involve cleaning, tidying, or preparing books and other library materials for circulation.

Work party dates:

Last Wednesday of every month, 5:30-7:30 pm

2nd Saturday of every month, 2-4 pm

FAQs

How do I qualify?

Fletcher Free Library cardholders who are 18 and over who have fines on their account may participate. Cardholders under 21 may participate in our Read Away Your Fines program.

Which fines & fees may be waived?  Is there a limit?

Unlimited fines; fees up to $50.00 on the participating patron's account.  

Can I get credit?  Reimbursement for fines or fees I already paid?

Sorry, only currently outstanding fines will be waived. No reimbursement or future credits will be issued.
