Carnegie Building Centennial Anniversary Note Cards These
note cards depict color and sepia-tone images of the Carnegie Library from
four different old post cards, and one new design by Burlington artist
David Curcio. Buy a package of 20 Carnegie Library note cards (four duplicates of each image) for $15.00 and get a copy of A Short History of Vermont’s Carnegie Libraries, published in 2004 for the 100th anniversary of the Fletcher Free Library’s Carnegie Building. Six cards sell for $5, and they are available singly (at the Circulation Desk only) for $1 each. Proceeds from Note Card sales will be used to make improvements to the building.

The Sounds of the
Library

Burlington Community Panoramic Portrait Poster As part of Burlington's celebration of the Vermont Bicentennial, a panoramic portrait photograph of its citizenry was made by photographer Fred G. Hill in October of 1991. The photo Fred took emulates one made on Bastille Day, 14 July 1918, by longtime Burlington photographer Louis L. McAllister. A 25"x40" poster of the two photos can be purchased for $25. Proceeds from sales of this item go to the library's Book Fund. |
