NoveList is an online readers' advisory tool from the Ebsco company that helps readers find new fiction books based on books they've read or topics in which they are interested.  Users simply enter a title or author they like, or describe a book they would like to read.  It includes 90,000 book reviews.

Book Index With Reviews provides information on over 3.8 million book titles.  This Ebsco product contains over 800,000 full text reviews from publications like Library Journal and Publisher's Weekly.  Library staff think it's better than Amazon!

HISTORICAL FICTION
Historical Fiction — Great all 'round site.
Western Writer's of America — Features “Roundup Online Magazine” which has a great book review section.

SCIENCE FICTION
The SF Site - Emphasizes the literary aspects of the genre, with book reviews and links to author web pages.

UCHRONIA - An alternate history site. Books focus on "What if" scenarios (different outcomes to wars, winners to elections, etc.).
