Help Tips for Downloading eAudiobooks

To find and download an eAudiobook to your computer:

  1. Once you have created an account in NetLibrary, search for an eAudiobook that you would like to download.
  2. Once you find a title you would like to download click on the “Download this eAudiobook”.
  3. Click on either the “Check Out and Download CD Quality” or “Check Out and Download Radio Quality” link.  If you intend to download the eAudiobook to an MP3 player, you must choose "CD Quality".
  4. If you are not already logged in you will be prompted for your username and password. Please fill in this information and click on “Log In”.
  5. Your eAudiobook should begin downloading immediately, if it doesn’t, look for a message near the top of your screen that states: “To help protect your security … Click here for options”.  Click on the message and choose “Download this File”.
  6. In the “File Download” box click on “Open”.  Wait for the eAudiobook to download.  This can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to download, much depends on the size of the eAudiobook and the speed of your Internet connection.
  7. Once the download finishes, your computer will automatically launch Windows Media Player and your eAudioBook will begin playing.

To Sync (copy) your eAudiobook to your MP3 player:

  1. Insert your MP3 player into an available USB port.
  2. Using the Windows Media Player program, click on the “Library” tab near the top of your screen.
  3. If you do not see your title click on the “Now Playing” link.
  4. With your mouse, drag your title over to the “Sync” column on the righthand side of your screen.
  5. In the lower right hand corner of the screen click on “Start Sync”.  Your title will begin copying to your MP3 player.
  6. Close Windows Media Player and eject your MP3 player.
